Pig Farm Fund

I have always desired to give the widows and the poor in my hometown something to eat whenever I go home for vacation. Some unforeseen circumstances have prevented me from visiting Nigeria as often as I wanted; a friend suggested that I need to have some project established to raise funds to enable me to give those people something to eat on a more regular basis. After researching, I came up with the idea of a Pig Farm where some of these widows and poor people could work so that the proceeds could go for this purpose.

For economic reasons, I used an NGO. The NGO for the Pig Farm is called “Apostles Without Boundaries Mission, Nigeria. The NGO registered in 2019 has not been functional due to a lack of funds. So I thank our Administrator, Father Ted Drennan, the parish council, and the staff of St Thomas the Apostle parish, Riverside, for accepting to adopt this project for the parish. The quotation of what it would cost to build the Pig Farm is on the parish website. Kindly donate generously and help me find donors to enable me to give the widows and the poor in my hometown something to eat as Jesus commanded us.

Thanks for your generosity.

Fr. Celestine Afugwobi - Parochial Vicar
